This is the problem. So, once again I say the fault rests not so much with the technology but with the consciousness that uses the technology. Since no one knows the basis of consciousness, therefore whatever technology humanity produces brilliantly misses the goal of life. Because we insist on such a narrow focus for science, we render as obscure a wide range of subjective experiences—namely, our own consciousness. This dogmatic adherence to materialistic principles of science and technology has crippled scientific research and impoverished our understanding of nature as a living whole.
